Review
of Pollutec 2011
The Pollutec Horizons trade show, held recently at the Paris Villepinte exhibition centre (France), once again proved to be the major annual event in France for promoting eco–technology. Tens of thousands of people attended to visit the 1,300 French and international exhibitors’ stands.
As a partner of this trade show, ADEME organised 30 conferences covering a range of topics dealing with the environment and energy management.
One of the highlights of Pollutec Horizons was the thirty or so foreign delegations from around the world, especially Latin America and Africa, who were welcomed at the exhibition. These delegations were able to learn more about the eco-technology France has to offer, especially through the 35 Club ADEME International members present at Pollutec Horizons. Finally, the Eco-company Export Awards were presented at the trade show on 1 December 2011. Organised jointly by Ubifrance, Oséo and ADEME with the support of Reed Expositions, this first awards ceremony was an opportunity to promote some of the finest successes by French eco-companies that have managed to combine eco-innovation with export activity.
